The Goodnight Scholars Program’s STEM Outreach Initiative (SOI) encourages reciprocal partnerships between educational organizations (i.e., K-12 public school, non-profit organization focused on STEM education, etc.) in North Carolina and current Goodnight Scholars. Through these partnerships, organizations can use the STEM knowledge and skills of Goodnight Scholars to support educational programming for their various communities.
ICLP participants meet and interact with international students at cultural and volunteer activities, workshops, and seminars. NC State students get a chance to share their culture with others, expand their horizons, and work on their foreign language skills. Students can also earn credit towards the Global Perspectives Certificate for successful participation in the ICLP.
