NC State is ending its contract with Collaboratory and is in the process of gathering requirements for a replacement system. The activities in Collaboratory are still viewable and the data from the activities will remain available.
What is Collaboratory at NC State?
Collaboratory is NC State’s tool to expand and advance our external engagement and public service with North Carolina and beyond.
Collaboratory is:
- A public platform that connects individuals and organizations
- A secure database that collects external engagement and public service activities
- A measurement and tracking tool that provides a portrait of activity and informs institutional strategy
- A showcase that provides a ‘face’ for inspiration, reputation, and validation
- An educational tool that informs about and distinguishes the spectrum of engagement and service activities
Coordinated by the NC State Office of Outreach and Engagement, Collaboratory helps NC State and its partners understand the who, what, where, when, and why of activities designed with and for external communities.
